This is a very speicial and decorative early 18th Century rocking cradle with panelling and turned decorative details. 
This is a genuinely lovely antique, heavy piece, with lined oak finish and beautifully constructed.  As to be expected of a clearly much loved antique, there are signs of age within... and a small area of past woodworm, which has been retreated.
What a pretty way to store toys in a playroom or child's bedroom, or fabulous as a decorative piece for a landing or Hall  -  cushion  or blanket storage perhaps?
